Here's another article to look at for the blog discussion today. It's a bit lengthy, but it brings to light an issue that many of us are going to come face to face with in the publishing industry - the changing face of editing. The gist of the article is that with the publishing industry becoming more streamlined, quality, painstakingly time-consuming editing takes a backseat to the demands of speed and efficiency. You don't have to read the whole thing (unless you want to); just skim it and take note of what sticks out to you.
